La Rocca
Vinification & tasting notes
Villa Saletta is nestled in the sub-region Colline Pisani of the Chianti DOCG. As a Riserva, the Chianti wine receives two years of cellar ageing prior to bottling. This wine is medium-bodied, with a slightly dry finish that complements Tuscan pasta dishes and cured meats such as prosciutto and salami. A bountiful, exciting crop of Sangiovese grapes led to a streak of prestigious awards for the 2007 and 2008 vintages.
